Editorial policy
A product card shows only what the piece itself states: the width and height where we measured them, the material, the steel grade where one is named, whether it says dishwasher safe. A card never invents a number to fill a gap.
A quotation on this site comes from a document one of us opened on the date printed beside it. Every rebuild compares the words with the saved source letter by letter, and one changed letter stops the build. We quote official food-safety sources wherever a page touches cooking temperatures or cleaning.
We write as Bellemain, in our own voice, and we say what a tool does not do and whom it will not suit. A page made only of praise describes nothing.
We show no star ratings and no customer reviews that we have not collected ourselves. When we do show them, a review is printed word for word, the lowest rating comes first, and a family of colors and sizes contributes its rating count once, not once for every color.
Price updates run on a schedule, and the prices page is the only place that prints the date of the latest run.
