Choosing a Bellemain baking
We make our baking tools to be held, not just used. The flour sifters, with their hand cranks, come in a 3‑cup size for a single batch of cookies and a 5‑cup one when you’re doubling a cake. If your counter space is tight, the smaller sifter lives in a drawer more easily. The measuring cups nest inside each other, so the set takes up no more room than a single bowl. Both the sifters and the cups are stainless steel, and they wash clean in the dishwasher.
For shaped treats, the nonstick donut pan and the madeleine pan are carbon steel with a silicone‑based coating. Each pack gives you two pans, twelve cavities total. The nonstick surface releases neatly, but it asks for gentle handling. No metal utensils, no scouring pads, and these pans stay out of the dishwasher. A quick wipe with warm, soapy water is the way to keep them in good condition. If you bake often but hate scrubbing, know that this is a hand‑wash corner of the kitchen.
Silicone is the quiet material here, appearing in details like the grip on a sifter crank and the pinch‑proof nest of the measuring cups. It softens the touch without adding weight.
This department suits someone who bakes in small to medium batches, or wants a single pan for a weekend project. It is less right for high‑volume cookie production or for a baker who needs every piece to survive the dishwasher, every time. What it gives you is simple, decently made tools that take the fuss out of measuring, sifting, and shaping.
